Boro rice in the Haor region is harvested in very large quantities. (April 2024)

A JICA suported project between BRRI, ASED HABIGONJ and Share the Planet has introduced a new variety rice. The rice has been harvested very much puroducton in the Haor region. Bangladeshi TV introduced the project.
