Skill development training on Vermicompost and Trichoderma has been provided to the farmers of Damurhuda Upazila

On Monday, August 21, 2023, a training session on Vermicompost and Trichoderma was conducted as part of the WASEP project, funded by JFGE. The event took place at the Abad meeting room in Chuadanga. The session was chaired by Md. Billal Hossain, the Executive Director of Prakanda Social Development Agency. Sharmin Akhter, the Upazila Agriculture Officer, graced the occasion as the chief guest, while Abhijit Kumar Biswas, the Agriculture Extension Officer of Damurhuda Upazila, was present as both a special guest and a resource person.

Members from various village committees were in attendance, including Taufiq Elahi from Natipota Union Natipota village committee, Mithuj Miah from Kagmari village committee, Akhtarul Islam from Hemayetpur village committee, Haider Ali and Abdullah from Damurhuda Union Keshabpur village committee, Mosha Farida Khatun from Napitkhali village committee, Abul Kalam from Old Haoli village committee, and Yachin Ali, the general secretary of the Old Howli village committee, among others.

The event was skillfully managed by WASEP Project Coordinator Saidur Rahman, with comprehensive support from Union Facilitators Sohail Rana and Mohibul Habib, as well as Field Volunteers Arifur Rahman and Manzoor Elahi.
